In-person workshop on technology and living well with a dementia
We would like to invite people with lived experience of a dementia (either living with a dementia, or supporting someone who is living with a dementia) to take part in an in-person workshop at the University of Stirling focused on how technology can better support people living with a dementia and those who care for them.
The workshop is part of a UK-wide research network called ZeDTech, which aims to improve how new technologies are designed so they feel useful, supportive, and low-effort in everyday life.
What the workshop involves:
Sharing experiences and perspectives on what helps (and what doesn’t) when technology is used at home, and when out and about.
Small-group discussions with researchers, designers, and professionals
Helping shape future research ideas and funding applications
You do not need any technical background to take part. Your lived experience is what matters.
