In-person workshop on technology and living well with a dementia

We would like to invite people with lived experience of a dementia (either living with a dementia, or supporting someone who is living with a dementia) to take part in an in-person workshop at the University of Stirling focused on how technology can better support people living with a dementia and those who care for them.

The workshop is part of a UK-wide research network called ZeDTech, which aims to improve how new technologies are designed so they feel useful, supportive, and low-effort in everyday life.

What the workshop involves:

  • Sharing experiences and perspectives on what helps (and what doesn’t) when technology is used at home, and when out and about.

  • Small-group discussions with researchers, designers, and professionals

  • Helping shape future research ideas and funding applications

  • You do not need any technical background to take part. Your lived experience is what matters.
