Help Us Understand Memory and Imagination in Dementia

 

Are you, or someone you know, aged 65 to 85 with a clinical diagnosis of mild dementia? If so, we invite you to participate in an online research study exploring the relationship between memory, imagination, and emotional wellbeing. Participants can complete the questionnaire independently or with the help of caregiver.   

This study is being conducted by Christina MacLean, a postgraduate Psychology Conversion student at the University of Stirling. The research aims to improve our understanding of cognitive experiences in individuals with a dementia, which may help inform better care and support strategies.      

                                                                                               

What Does Participation Involve? 

✅ A web-based questionnaire (approximately 15-20 minutes to complete) 

✅ Questions about memory, imagination, and emotional wellbeing  

✅ Can be completed independently or with assistance from a caregiver  

 

Who Can Take Part?  

✔️ Adults aged 65 to 85  

✔️ Clinically diagnosed with mild dementia  

✔️ Able to complete a questionnaire independently or with help from a caregiver 

✔️ Open to all genders  

✔️ Healthy individuals without a dementia (e.g., caregivers, spouses, family members or friends)

Your participation is completely voluntary, and all responses will remain anonymous and confidential. This research has been ethically approved by the University of Stirling General University Ethics Panel.
